Turkish Food Fest at Movenpick Alkhobar

The Blue restaurant at Movenpick Hotel Alkhobar, in association with Turkish Airlines, began a special 10-day Turkish Food Festival yesterday. The hotel has invited guests to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine and to relive the magnificence of the Ottoman Empire.
Two master chefs have been especially flown in from Movenpick Hotel Izmir, courtesy of Turkish Airlines, to take the valued guests on a fascinating journey featuring healthy and delicious Aegean gastronomy in general and Turkish cuisine in particular.
During the festival, guests can indulge their palates with artichokes and stuffed vegetables prepared in virgin olive oil, grilled meat, chicken and fish marinated in a variety of tasty sauces, and an endless array of delicious Aegean desserts flavored with mastic gum, as well as other mouth-watering Turkish and Ottoman sweets.
The Blue promises its guests an unforgettable time and unparalleled service.

Since its opening in September 2008, Movenpick Hotel Alkhobar has become a popular landmark in the Eastern Province. Its GM Markus Marti is a Swiss national and a veteran of the hospitality industry. He has been with Movenpick Hotels and Resorts for more than two decades. He took over Movenpick Alkhobar in May last year, and has since then brought about subtle but unique changes to the way guests are treated and taken care of at a five-star hotel.
